Air Marshal AK Bharti clarified on Monday that Operation Sindoor was exclusively aimed at terrorist targets, distancing the operation from any intent to engage with the Pakistan Military or civilians. During a press conference, Bharti asserted, 'Our combat is solely against terrorism, not against the Pakistani military or its civilians. This is distinctly clear, and we are precise in our operations.'

Bharti lauded the Indian Armed Forces' proficiency, evidenced through precise strikes during the operation. 'Our air defense operators and counter systems are adept, showcasing our indigenous capabilities' effectiveness. Irrespective of new technology advancements, our preparedness is evident. The outcomes speak for themselves,' he declared.

Addressing modern warfare, Air Marshal Bharti warned of the changing nature of conflicts, emphasizing the importance of preempting adversaries. 'Future wars won't mirror past battles; it's a game of strategy and foresight,' he noted.

Responding to inquiries about targeting Kirana Hills, Bharti remarked, 'If Kirana Hills is strategic, it wasn't in our strike list. Our focus remained elsewhere.' Operation Sindoor commenced on May 7, targeting terror bases in Pakistan and PoK, retaliating for the April attack in Kashmir that claimed 26 lives.

After engaging in successful dialogue, India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri confirmed an agreement with Pakistan's military to cease hostilities. However, subsequent alleged violations by Pakistan, including drone activity, elicited a stern warning from India.
