In a potent rebuttal to the Pahalgam terror attack, Former Punjab Director General of Police SS Virk extolled India's launch of Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. He described the decisive military action as a forceful reminder that peace and progress in Kashmir cannot be compromised.

Virk applauded the central government's retaliative approach, stating, "The decision to strike back was absolutely appropriate. India's response was clear: Pakistan's orchestration of violence through proxies on April 22 was a misstep." This critical stance underlines the necessity for strong reprisals in maintaining regional stability.

As part of Operation Sindoor, multiple targets, including air bases and terrorist camps, were hit. According to Virk, these measures caused significant damage, questioning Pakistani authorities' involvement. His comments also drew historical parallels to events like the 2008 Mumbai attacks, challenging Pakistan's public denials of supporting terrorism.
