Former Punjab Director General of Police SS Virk on Monday hailed the Indian government's decisive launch of 'Operation Sindoor' in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack. The operation, seen as an apt response to Pakistan's actions, delivered a robust message against peace disruption in Kashmir, according to Virk.
In a conversation with ANI, Virk maintained that India's move was a fitting strategy. He commended the central government for its 'tit-for-tat' approach, conveying that Pakistan's proxy actions on April 22 were met with significant force. The operation underlined India's commitment to maintaining stability in Kashmir.
Describing the operation's impact, Virk asserted the substantial damage inflicted at multiple sites, including air bases and terrorist camps. He criticized the Pakistani military for offering prayers for slain terrorists, condemning their alleged covert support, and drew parallels to the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
