Tragedy struck the town of Majitha in Punjab, as at least 14 individuals have succumbed to spurious liquor, sparking political blame and outrage. Congress leader Gurjeet Singh Aujla has blamed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state government for the tragedy, citing administrative lapses and the unchecked liquor mafia.
