Bomb Threat Forces Return of Lufthansa Flight to Frankfurt

A Lufthansa flight en route to Hyderabad was compelled to return to its origin in Frankfurt, Germany, following a bomb threat. The aircraft, Flight LH752, was scheduled to land at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Monday. However, Lufthansa disclosed that landing permission was not granted, attributing the return to this factor.

Hyderabad airport officials confirmed that the bomb threat was received while the flight was still outside Indian airspace, leading to the decision to turn back. 'We did not receive a permit to land in Hyderabad, and that's why the aircraft took a U-turn and returned,' Lufthansa representatives informed ANI.

This is not an isolated incident. On June 13, a bomb threat forced an Air India flight from Phuket to New Delhi to make an emergency landing. A similar, unsettling pattern seems to be emerging, raising security concerns.
