AIIMS New Delhi has spearheaded the 2025 Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) to fill crucial vacancies in various healthcare institutions, underlining the emphasis on robust recruitment practices. The initiative ensures consistent staffing levels across hospitals under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The official announcement revealed the recruitment of 595 Nursing Officers for AIIMS, New Delhi, and 288 for AIIMS-CAPFIMS from a pool of 1,939 selected candidates. This development is part of a strategic move to conduct the NORCET exam twice a year, replacing the previous annual schedule to maintain seamless patient care and address staffing shortfalls.

In related news, the Ministry of Health organized a two-day Conclave at AIIMS Nagpur to highlight innovative practices across AIIMS institutions, emphasizing patient care and operational efficiency. Union Minister JP Nadda reaffirmed the vital role of AIIMS in enhancing regional healthcare, recognizing each as a hub of excellence in medical education and research.
