An Indian Army contingent of 90 personnel embarked to France to participate in the 8th edition of the biennial India-France Joint Military Exercise 'Shakti'. The group, largely from the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles, will join the exercise scheduled from June 18 to July 1 at Camp Larzac, La Cavalerie.
The French side, also comprising 90 troops from the 13th Foreign Legion Half-Brigade, aims to enhance military interoperability and strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations.
