Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the Commander-in-Chief of the Udhampur-based Northern Army Command, conducted an assessment visit to a primary operational logistics unit to evaluate its efforts in transforming and modernizing logistical and operational preparedness, according to an official army statement.
During his visit, Lt Gen Sharma lauded the unit's strides in automation, underscoring the essential role of technology-driven logistics within the realm of modern warfare. Meanwhile, the Indian Army has increased its security measures in Jammu and Kashmir with the 4 Rashtriya Rifles initiating intense patrolling in the dense forests and rugged terrains of Bhaderwah.
