Global Yoga Celebration: Visakhapatnam's Record-Breaking Yoga Day Plans

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami engaged in a yoga practice session in Dehradun on Thursday, emphasizing the growing global appeal of yoga under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. As the International Day of Yoga approaches on June 21, CM Dhami urged the public to embrace yoga for better health.
In anticipation of the International Yoga Day, a major event in Visakhapatnam will showcase over 2.5 lakh individuals performing yoga simultaneously, seeking to establish a new world record. The event, which will occur along the city's 27-kilometer coastal stretch, will feature the participation of PM Modi and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu.
The Andhra Pradesh government, organizing the 11th International Yoga Day celebrations, held a significant review meeting to ensure thorough preparation. The meeting, attended by prominent state ministers and MPs, focused on logistics for managing the expected turnout of five lakh participants, including deploying 2,000 CCTV cameras for security.
