International Experts Rally to Control Gas Leakage in Assam
The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is handling a significant gas leak issue in Assam's Sivasagar district. Experts from the US are being brought in to manage the situation. Multiple attempts have been made to control the ongoing discharge from the well operated by S K Petro Services.

In a bid to control a substantial gas leak at a crude oil well in Assam's Sivasagar district, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation has enlisted the expertise of professionals from the United States. The blowout occurred eight days ago.
The state-owned corporation announced in its daily bulletin that the American experts are expected to reach Assam by Friday evening, bringing specialized skills to tackle the situation.
The incident happened on June 12 at ONGC's Rudrasagar oil field operated by S K Petro Services. Several operations have been undertaken to mitigate the gas discharge, which still remains a challenge.
