In a significant development, ACME Solar Holdings announced on Friday that it has finalized an agreement with NHPC to supply 250 megawatts of electricity from a renewable energy project situated in Rajasthan.

The 25-year power purchase agreement is set at a rate of Rs 4.56 per kWh, ensuring a minimum capacity utilization factor of 40%, aimed at fulfilling 90% of peak power needs for four-hour daily intervals. ACME's chief executive emphasized the PPA's importance in bolstering its profile in firm and dispatchable renewable energy.

This initiative marks a pivotal step in supporting India's clean energy aspirations through a blend of solar, wind, and battery technologies. Already approved by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, the project boosts the company's robust 5,130 MW PPA portfolio, of which 2,826.2 MW is in operation.
