The Indian government's Operation Sindhu has commenced with the successful evacuation of 161 citizens from Israel amid rising hostilities in the Middle East. Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, reassured citizens on Tuesday of the government's unyielding support to those stranded in conflict zones.

Speaking to ANI, Margherita highlighted the arrival of the first batch of evacuees—a mission deemed paramount for the government. 'We remain committed to provide all assistance to Indians in both Israel and Iran,' he stated, emphasizing the operation's importance as the global situation intensifies.

As geopolitical tensions flare, over 292 Indian nationals were also airlifted from Iran, illustrating the urgency of the operation. This response underscores India's commitment to ensuring the safety of its nationals, even as the conflict, driven by retaliatory operations between Israel, Iran, and US forces, intensifies.
