ACME Solar Powers Up with Full Commissioning of Sikar Project
ACME Solar Holding announced the full commissioning of its 300 MW Sikar Solar project in Rajasthan after adding an additional 60 MW. The accomplishment boosts the company's operational capacity to 2,890 MW, with the project expected to generate 780 million units annually. ACME also expanded into wind energy.

ACME Solar Holding announced on Tuesday that it has fully commissioned its 300 MW Sikar Solar project in Rajasthan, having added an additional 60 MW capacity a day earlier. This milestone increases ACME Solar's total operational capacity to 2,890 MW.
Spanning 1,300 acres in Bikaner, Rajasthan, a high solar irradiation area, the project connects to the Bikaner II substation at 220 kV and is projected to generate around 780 million units of renewable energy each year. The project was allocated under the SECI-ISTS XVIII scheme at a rate of Rs 3.05 per unit, approved by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC). The Power Purchase Agreement is anticipated to be signed soon.
Furthermore, ACME Solar has fully commissioned its first wind project, with a capacity of 50 MW in Shapar, Gujarat. This wind project was completed during the current quarter, adding an additional 3.3 MW with the installation of the last turbine. With this, ACME Solar has expanded its portfolio and EPC capabilities in the renewable energy sector.
