The Inspector General of Police for the Jammu Zone, Bhim Sen Tuti, held a crucial security review meeting at the Zonal Police Headquarters in Jammu. The meeting, aimed at evaluating counter-terrorism strategies, included the participation of senior police officers both in-person and virtually, covering aspects of capacity building and strategic guidance for the region.

During the comprehensive district-wise security assessment, IGP Tuti scrutinized law and order in each district, stressing the importance of high alertness against evolving security threats. The review focused on recent counter-terrorism operations, including encounters, intelligence-based raids, and cooperation with the Army and central armed forces to combat terror elements, signaling a firm offensive stance.

Training and skill enhancement were paramount topics, with regular field exercises emphasized, particularly for SOG units. Quarterly operational goals for DySsPs were introduced to drive accountability and mission-centric action. These directives are poised to refine leadership, bolster readiness, and integrate community-oriented policing in the Jammu Zone.
