Srinagar Police intensified their fight against illegal narcotics by seizing a residential property worth Rs 50 lakh, linked to notorious drug peddler Hilal Ahmad Bhat. This move is part of an aggressive campaign to dismantle the financial infrastructure of drug networks.
Authorities executed the seizure under Sections 68-E and 68-F of the NDPS Act, establishing that the property was acquired through illicit drug trafficking proceeds. The attached property cannot be sold or transferred without official consent, reflecting a broader strategy targeting the roots of drug operations.
These actions, part of a sustained crackdown by J&K Police, aim to disrupt the narcotics supply chain and protect public health by targeting those who threaten community safety.
