SBI General Insurance & Starfin India Launch Innovative Health Plan for Low-Income Families

SBI General Insurance has teamed up with Starfin India, a subsidiary of BLS E-Services, to offer a groundbreaking hospital daily cash benefit plan aimed at supporting low-income families. This plan provides policyholders with a fixed cash benefit for each day spent in the hospital, addressing financial stress in times of illness or accident.

In addition to daily cash benefits, the plan covers accidental death and partial disability, extending a safety net of protection and peace to policyholders. "Access to financial support during hospitalization can significantly impact vulnerable families," noted Priya Kumar, Business Head of Emerging Business Lines at SBI General Insurance.

Starfin India Chairman, Shikhar Aggarwal, emphasized the plan's goal to alleviate hospital-induced financial burdens. By utilizing a tech-enabled platform, Starfin ensures a straightforward insurance journey with quick policy issuance, seamless claims processing, and online payment options.
