Osmania University Strengthens Ties with College of Defence Management

Osmania University's Vice Chancellor, Professor Kumar Molugaram, visited the College of Defence Management in Secunderabad to bolster the civil-military academic partnership. His presence marked over three decades of collaboration between the institutions, underscoring their strategic alliance.
During the visit, Prof. Molugaram inaugurated the 'Kurukshetra' Domain Awareness Room, an initiative designed to cultivate Indian Strategic Culture among future leaders. Discussions touched on enhancing curriculum design, joint research opportunities, and expanded faculty exchanges.
Osmania University, a historic institution in Hyderabad, plays a vital role in this partnership, offering a Master of Management Studies degree to participants of the Higher Defence Management Course. Since 2005, 33 officers have earned PhDs under the OU Chair of Excellence at CDM, exemplifying its interdisciplinary educational impact.
