Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, attending the second Chhattisgarh Industry Dialogue in Raipur, underscored the vital collaboration of industrialists in propelling the state's development. He noted the instrumental role of industrial backing in establishing a 'Developed Chhattisgarh'.
Chief Minister Sai discussed the progressive industrial policy launched seven months ago and the numerous industrial connectivity programs aimed at enhancing the state's development. To date, proposals for investments exceeding Rs 5 lakh crore have been submitted, with initial steps towards implementation already underway.
Sai highlighted Chhattisgarh's strategic geographical location at the nation's center, advantageous for logistics. With abundant water and power resources, he urged industrialists to seize the investment potential. Notably, the state's expanding railway network and the forthcoming international cargo hub mark strategic infrastructure advancements. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister reiterated his dedication to fighting naxalism, backed by Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, with a target to uproot the issue by 2026. The upcoming Central Zonal Council meeting in Bastar, announced during the recent Varanasi assembly, represents a pivotal opportunity for the region to redefine itself as a center of peace and development. Officials remain hopeful for discernible progress in curtailing Left-Wing Extremism by the session's commencement.
