In a significant development for Gujarat's healthcare system, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Aarogya Samiksha Kendra in Gandhinagar on Tuesday. The initiative, hailed by Health Minister Rushikesh Patel, promises to centralize monitoring of health services across the state, offering a unified platform for feedback and reviews.

The Aarogya Samiksha Kendra is designed to integrate various health services from the Health Department's different branches. A key feature is its capability to conduct structured follow-ups and reviews, ensuring even those who missed district-level services are reached. It boasts sophisticated facilities, including a state-of-the-art conference room equipped with video conferencing capabilities.

The Kendra also makes health services more accessible with the operation of Health Helpline 104, providing vital information and consultation services. It includes specialized facilities for maternal and child health, high-risk TB patient monitoring, and sickle cell anaemia care. The centre reflects Gujarat's commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility and efficiency through digital solutions.
