In a dramatic incident in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, a group of eunuchs confronted a man pretending to be part of their community to extort money. This confrontation, which included stripping and tonsuring the impersonator, unfolded amidst a gathering of spectators near Sukheja House, Krishnanagar.

According to onlookers, an ensemble of eight individuals, masquerading as eunuchs, arrived by autorickshaw, making rounds in the neighborhood to collect cash, colloquially known as 'nazrana', with the accompaniment of drums. The situation took a turn when real eunuchs appeared, prompting all but one of the imposters to run.

The left-behind man faced public humiliation, with videos of the event quickly gaining traction on social media. Despite the prevalence of such incidents, calls from 15 years ago for ID cards for authentic eunuchs by Jabalpur Municipal Corporation remain unaddressed, as officials disclosed.
