In a significant ceremony commemorating the establishment and relocation of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Manik Saha underlined the crucial symbiotic relationship between the opposition and the treasury benches, akin to the interdependence of humans and nature.

Highlighting the Assembly's rich history since its inception on July 1, 1963, CM Saha called for the event's historic nature as it marks the first time the state celebrated this milestone. He stressed the importance of the Assembly's role in public welfare, underscoring the responsibility carried by its 60 MLAs.

Saha advocated for the inclusion of ex-Speakers in future events and led a tree-planting initiative, reinforcing the need for environmental conservation. He echoed Prime Minister Modi's vision for a carbon-neutral India, asserting the vital need for trees, likening them to the democratic interplay within the Assembly.
