In a determined effort to curb insurgency, Manipur Police have arrested three active cadres of the banned People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK Pro) from Imphal West District. The arrests took place on Tuesday, as revealed via a social media post by the police.
Through further disclosures, two more operatives were apprehended, revealing a larger network. Arrests were made at their respective residences, and police seized mobile devices and wallets, offering potential intelligence leads.
Additionally, police operations resulted in the capture of seven more militants linked to separate outlawed groups, along with the seizure of a significant arsenal. This includes various types of rifles, explosives, and communication devices, highlighting the comprehensive effort to dismantle insurgency networks in the region.
