On Wednesday, Haridwar witnessed a massive gathering of devotees plunging into the Holy Ganga on Shravan Shivratri and at the conclusion of Kanwar Yatra 2025. Anuj Chaudhary, Chandausi Circle Officer, noted the establishment of a camp in Sambhal district to cater to pilgrims returning from Haridwar.

The camp provides essential services such as food and medical care. Chaudhary highlighted the comprehensive support available, including refreshments, drinking water, and medical facilities. For over a week and a half, security measures have been in place, with officials deployed inside and outside temple premises, and cameras installed to monitor the influx of Kanwariyas.

In Bulandshahr, a detailed security strategy was executed to ensure the smooth transit of pilgrims. Across Uttar Pradesh, including Varanasi, the spiritual fervor peaked as devotees congregated at Shiva temples. Special prayers took place at Kailash Math, and a significant number of barefoot Kanwar pilgrims were seen at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga Temple, underscoring the deep spiritual commitment of attendees.
