On Wednesday, Union Minister Giriraj Singh sharply criticized the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc's protest outside Parliament against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in Bihar, labeling their actions as 'hooliganism.'
Singh, in his conversation with ANI, argued that both hooliganism and anarchy were being deliberately propagated in Bihar and inside Parliament. He questioned the opposition's rationale for protests when details of the SIR had already been transparently disclosed.
Highlighting the government's willingness to engage in dialogue, Singh lamented the opposition's focus on creating chaos instead of participating in discussions. Earlier, the INDIA bloc staged a protest at Parliament's Makar Dwar, demanding a halt to the SIR exercise they claim threatens voting rights, with several prominent leaders present.
