JSW Energy, via its subsidiary JSW Renew Energy Forty Five, has signed a significant power purchase agreement with Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) for a 100 MW solar project.

The 25-year agreement is priced at Rs 4.31 per kWh and includes a 100 MWh Battery Energy Storage System, bolstering JSW Energy's renewable energy portfolio.

This project, set near the 220/400 kV KPTCL Firozabad substation in Kalaburagi, moves the company closer to its 2030 target of achieving 40 GWh of energy storage capacity.
