In a brazen act, two men disguised as delivery personnel executed a broad daylight robbery at a jewelry store in Ghaziabad's Link Road area. The heist, captured by CCTV cameras, resulted in the thieves fleeing with nearly 20 kg of silver and 125 grams of gold.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Trans Hindon, Nimish Patil, disclosed that the suspects gained entry under the guise of delivering a package. Once inside, they threatened the shopworker and proceeded with the theft. Patil confirmed that six police teams have been assembled to investigate the case thoroughly.
In pursuit of the culprits, authorities are scrutinizing CCTV footage for vital clues. This incident echoes a previous high-profile robbery in Ghaziabad's Kavi Nagar, where significant assets were stolen, leading to an armed encounter. The investigation into both cases is ongoing, with further updates anticipated.
