PM Modi to Unveil Major Installment of Farm Aid Scheme
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme, worth Rs 20,500 crore, benefiting 9.7 crore farmers. The event will take place in Varanasi and marks over five years of the scheme, which has transferred Rs 3.69 lakh crore to farmers since 2019.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, infusing Rs 20,500 crore. Scheduled for August 2 in Varanasi, the release will benefit 9.7 crore farmers nationwide.
This announcement marks a significant milestone for the government's flagship initiative, which has completed more than five years, disbursing Rs 3.69 lakh crore directly to farmers through 19 installments since its inception in 2019.
The Agriculture Ministry emphasized the need for farmers to complete their e-KYC process, link Aadhaar with their bank accounts, and maintain accurate land records to receive benefits efficiently, ensuring that the support reaches the intended beneficiaries.
