Devendra Fadnavis Pushes for Swift Solar Energy Expansion in Maharashtra

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis coined the state's 5,000 MW solar agriculture feeder scheme as his 'dream project,' underlining its potential to bolster energy sustainability and empower rural communities.

At a review meeting, Fadnavis insisted on eliminating delays in the 'Mukhyamantri Solar Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0,' stressing the need for coordinated and time-sensitive execution. The meeting addressed issues such as land availability and collaboration between local bodies and developers.

The Chief Minister directed swift resolutions on No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and developer issues, and emphasized the importance of tackling land-related matters. Authorities were also instructed to expedite any necessary permissions and ensure the protection of equipment against theft, adhering to environmental guidelines.
