Swiggy, an e-commerce and food delivery platform, has launched 'Mom'entum 2.0, a comprehensive program aimed at supporting new mothers and enhancing workplace inclusivity.
The initiative allows new mothers to work from home for up to a year following a 26-week maternity leave, and offers part-time roles with prorated pay. Fathers can also benefit from up to 15 days of gender-neutral bonding leave, available until the child's third birthday.
The new policy includes financial support for IVF, adoption, and surrogacy. Swiggy's efforts to maintain career continuity for returning mothers include a structured transition plan and mentorship programs, demonstrating its commitment to creating a supportive work environment for all employees.
