On Thursday morning, several areas of Delhi, including Janpath, Lajpat Nagar, and the Minto Bridge vicinity, experienced substantial rainfall. This followed an earlier day of intense showers in the capital. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light to moderate rains throughout Thursday for regions encompassing the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR).

Additional forecasts from the IMD suggest areas such as Bahadurgarh and Manesar might encounter light to moderate rainfall along with light thunderstorms and lightning. Furthermore, light precipitation is anticipated to extend across the entire Delhi-NCR area, according to the department's update on X. Areas specifically named include Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ballabhgarh, with potential very light rain or drizzle expected for the entire Delhi region in the subsequent two hours.

Between 8:30 AM Wednesday and 6:30 AM Thursday, recorded rainfall data highlighted Salwan Public School in East Delhi receiving 42 mm, Pusa in Central Delhi 40 mm, Sports Complex in New Delhi 38 mm, and Safdurjung in Southwest Delhi 34 mm. Additional readings included 23.5 mm in Najafgarh, 22.1 mm at Pragati Maidan, 20.5 mm at KV Narayana, 18.5 mm on Lodi Road, 18 mm at KV Janakpuri, and 13 mm in Aayanagar. For Thursday, IMD predicts a generally cloudy sky with accompanying light to moderate showers and potential thunderstorms. The capital's temperatures are expected to range from 30 to 32°C at their highest and 23 to 25°C at their lowest, slightly below typical norms by 2 to 4°C.
