Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has conducted an extensive review of 32 significant projects across seven state government departments, amounting to Rs 1.74 lakh crore, as part of his third review meeting focused on high-impact ventures. Senior department secretaries presented detailed progress reports, highlighting completed milestones and future objectives.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister asserted the importance of these development projects as benchmarks for integrated growth, adhering to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambition for a Viksit Bharat. Emphasizing the necessity for timely and quality execution, Patel warned against potential financial repercussions from project delays.

The review session also covered the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project, with Patel mandating land acquisition completion by August 2025. Progress in Khavda, Kachchh, has seen 64% completion of the 30 GW Hybrid Renewable Energy Park, with an operational capacity of 6,862 MW renewable energy. Additionally, focus was given to completing the research and planning of the RE Park by December 2026.

Among other projects discussed were the National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal, where the state has facilitated significant infrastructural groundwork including land allocation and public utilities installation. Infrastructure advancements are also planned for the tourism circuit, while Sabarmati Riverfront and Dream City Surat projects were deliberated in line with their respective master plans.

Patel also inspected the Labour and Employment Department initiatives such as The Skill University, demanding expedited and quality-focused completion. The meeting was attended by key officials including Chief Secretary Pankaj Joshi and additional secretaries overseeing various projects, ensuring a comprehensive interdepartmental approach.
