Senior IAS officer SP Goyal has officially taken charge as the new Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh. Addressing his primary goals, Goyal emphasized zero tolerance towards crime and corruption as well as the rapid implementation of state and central schemes. His agenda aligns with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision of making Uttar Pradesh a $1 trillion economy.

In concurrent developments, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Chitrakoot on the occasion of the 528th birth anniversary of Goswami Tulsidas. Highlighting the cultural and spiritual heritage of the region, the Chief Minister underscored Chitrakoot's potential to become a land of faith, security, and self-reliance. During the visit, he participated in spiritual ceremonies and spoke on the region's legacy.

The Chief Minister also outlined various developmental projects, including the construction of the Ram Van Gaman Marg, Bundelkhand Motorway, and a Defence Corridor to enhance local tourism and economy. Additionally, he reiterated ongoing support for farmers, mentioning increases in crop production and forthcoming agricultural benefits. These initiatives aim to profoundly transform Chitrakoot and uplift its people.
