IIM Udaipur and PRICE Launch Landmark Financial Maturity Survey in Gujarat and Rajasthan

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, in collaboration with People Research on India's Consumer Economy, has embarked on a pivotal research initiative to gauge financial maturity across urban and rural areas in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
The comprehensive survey, involving 4,000 participants, is designed to develop a Financial Maturity Index reflecting individuals' understanding and management of financial resources. This index will be fundamental in shaping data-driven financial inclusion policies.
Survey efforts will encompass key districts in both states, supported by local governmental cooperation. Fieldwork expects to start in August 2025, aiming to provide valuable insights into financial behaviors, thereby contributing to more inclusive and effective financial systems.
