The Budha Amarnath Yatra has officially commenced, with the fourth batch of devotees arriving in Poonch on Friday. Celebrated as a significant religious event, the pilgrims were warmly received by local residents and the administration.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off the first batch from Jammu, commending the arrangements made for the pilgrimage as more than a thousand participants embark on their spiritual journey.
Situated amidst the majestic Pir Panchal Range, the Swami Budha Amarnath Ji temple attracts thousands of devotees annually, with a grand festival preceding Raksha Bandhan, promising benefits for local businesses and the hospitality sector.
