Rahul Gandhi, a Member of Parliament from the Congress party and the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has leveled substantial allegations against the Election Commission of India (ECI). He claims the ECI is involved in large-scale voter fraud intended to benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Gandhi asserts his party holds 'open-and-shut proof' of these serious allegations.
Gandhi stated, 'Votes are being stolen, and we have undeniable evidence implicating the Election Commission in facilitating vote theft. This is not a claim made lightly, but with solid proof in hand. When disclosed, it will be evident to the entire nation that the ECI is complicit in this malpractice to favor the BJP.' The Congress leader suggested that his party's findings are akin to an 'atom bomb,' potentially destabilizing the ECI's integrity.
Further, Gandhi emphasized the exhaustive effort his party invested over six months to probe these allegations, after the Election Commission failed to cooperate. Gandhi issued a stern warning to those within the ECI involved, labeling their actions as 'treasonous' and pledging accountability, even for those retired, for allegedly compromising India's democratic process.
