Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed state officials to enhance their communication with Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) to address public issues at the constituency level. Dhami emphasized prioritizing issues highlighted by MLAs and urged department heads to collaborate with MLAs to resolve any emerging challenges.

In a meeting held at the Secretariat, focused on assembly constituencies under Haridwar Lok Sabha, the Chief Minister stressed expediting solutions for persistent issues such as waterlogging in Haridwar and enhancing the water infrastructure at Triveni Ghat, Rishikesh. Dhami also instructed officials to fast-track the development of Sanjay Lake as a tourist attraction and improve urban drainage systems.

Further directives included preparing plans for alternative routes during the Kanwar Yatra to ease public transit and promoting the beautification and construction of parks. Dhami underscored the importance of appointing nodal officers for key projects like AIIMS Rishikesh and its satellite centre in Kichha, while also advocating for the development of model villages to address broader rural challenges.
