PM Modi to Launch 20th PM-KISAN Instalment: Nationwide Celebration in Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to engage with farmers nationwide as he releases the 20th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme in Varanasi tomorrow. The celebration, titled 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Utsav Diwas', will also take place at state and district levels in Gujarat.
In Gujarat, the event will unfold in Gandhinagar under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel's leadership, accompanied by a district-level ceremony in Rajkot with Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel at the helm. Modi's virtual address will connect with farmers during these gatherings, marking the transfer of over ₹20,500 crore to more than 9.7 crore farmers nationwide, with substantial allocations to Gujarati farmer families.
The state-wide event will broadcast live across all Gram Panchayats and Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) in Gujarat, with the presence of dignitaries such as state cabinet members, MPs, and MLAs. Over 2.5 lakh farmers are expected to participate, highlighting the significance of the PM-KISAN scheme that has disbursed ₹3.69 lakh crore to over 11 crore families across India.
