Prime Minister Narendra Modi has confirmed his role as the chief guest for Chhattisgarh's silver jubilee, labeled 'Amrit Rajat Mahotsav', as announced by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The festivities span from August 15, 2025, to March 31, 2026, marking 25 years of Chhattisgarh's existence as a state.

During his recent visit to New Delhi, CM Sai extended a formal invitation to Prime Minister Modi to attend the celebrations, particularly highlighting an event in Raipur on November 1, the date marking the state's inception in 2000. The milestone is to be commemorated with a series of cultural and developmental initiatives, reflecting on the state's growth and progress.

CM Sai also held meetings with Union Ministers including Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, and Mansukh Mandaviya, discussing key infrastructure and development projects worth Rs 7000 crore. These meetings underscored plans for the Bastar Olympics under the Khelo India Tribal Games and further strategies in combating Naxalism in the region.
