The Delhi Police Anti-Narcotics Squad arrested two foreign nationals in a significant drug bust in the national capital, Govindpuri. Identified as Bernadin, 39, and Ezekile, 33, the suspects were captured by authorities on July 31 during a planned raid, according to police sources.

The operation yielded substantial quantities of narcotics, including 36.64 grams of cocaine and 61.16 grams of MD (Mephedrone), along with eight mobile phones, a weighing machine, drug-packing pouches, and ₹10,600 in cash. The detained individuals now face charges under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, with the case being registered at the Govindpuri Police Station.

Police continue their investigation, while the Delhi Police (West District) has initiated a comprehensive campaign targeting crime, resulting in more than 650 arrests in July 2025 alone, addressing crimes such as armed robbery, snatching, and drug-related offences.
