State Disaster Management and Relief Minister Kirodi Lal Meena announced that Rajasthan has recorded over 130% more rainfall than last year's monsoon, leading to extensive damage in several districts. Meena revealed that nearly twelve districts have borne the brunt of heavy rainfall.

Speaking with ANI, the minister expressed concern over the increase in rain-related accidents and deaths, attributing them to the season's extreme weather conditions. In response, the state government is actively monitoring affected areas and issuing advisories to prevent further casualties and property damage.

The government remains committed to providing relief and compensation to those affected. Plans for artificial rain in Jaipur's Ramgarh Dam have been suspended as the region is experiencing significant natural rainfall, according to the IMD.
