Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, during his visit to Bihar, highlighted on Saturday the collaborative efforts of the Central and state governments in championing schemes dedicated to farmers' welfare. Addressing reporters in Patna, Minister Chouhan revealed that a substantial financial distribution under the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi has been executed, with approximately 21,000 crore rupees dispensed to support farmers. His statements emphasized the undying commitment towards enhancing farmers' earnings.

Minister Chouhan articulated his dedication to the agricultural community, equating his service to farmers as akin to a divine worship. In a bid to empower them, he denounced any forced sales mixed with fertilizer purchases, assuring stringent actions against such practices. Celebrating farmers' resolve in Patna, he noted their pledge to procure exclusively 'Made in India' products, aligning with Prime Minister Modi's call for indigenous-only purchases.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a gathering in Varanasi, reiterated the need for heightened awareness towards India's economic interests amid a globally unstable environment. He reinforced the narrative of prioritizing farmers, small industries, and youth employment, while urging citizens and businesses alike to embrace 'swadeshi' goods, foreseeing India's march towards becoming the world's third-largest economy.
