Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), has achieved a Guinness World Record for registering the most people on a citizen engagement platform in a month, the Ministry of Education announced. The eighth edition saw 3.53 crore valid registrations hosted on the MyGov platform.
Pariksha Pe Charcha, a unique platform conceptualized by Narendra Modi, facilitates direct interaction with students, teachers, and parents. The initiative transforms exam season into a positive learning experience. A ceremony in New Delhi, attended by Union Ministers and senior officials, marked the official Guinness World Record certificate presentation.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan credited Modi's visionary leadership for redefining the examination approach, evidenced by 21+ crore viewership in the 8th edition. The initiative symbolizes commitment to inclusive education, said Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Jitin Prasada lauded MyGov's role in expanding PPC nationally, highlighting NEP 2020's focus on stress-free learning.
