The 8th Jasjit Singh Memorial Lecture, organized by the Centre for Aerospace Power and Strategic Studies (CAPSS) and the Forum for National Security Studies (FNSS), took place in New Delhi, honoring Air Commodore Jasjit Singh. The event featured Dr. Ram Madhav, President of the India Foundation, discussing 'Strategic Autonomy in a Heteropolar World'.

Opening remarks were made by Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Anil Golani, with the session chaired by G. Parthasarathy. Dr. Madhav highlighted India's geopolitical evolution and praised Jasjit Singh's legacy as a 'scholar soldier'. He noted India's need to adapt to new global realities.

Delving into global changes, Dr. Madhav warned against outdated international frameworks and called for the evolution of institutions. Criticizing past Western-influenced multilateralism, he stressed the need for today's leaders to embrace strategic autonomy, distinct from previous eras.
