Rescue Efforts Escalate as Flash Floods Ravage Uttarakhand

In Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district, rescue operations continue intensively as flash floods and landslides have left over 50 people missing and claimed three civilian lives.
The Indian Army has confirmed that one Junior Commissioned Officer and eight soldiers are among those unaccounted for. The rescue mission has already airlifted several civilians and military personnel to Dehradun and other medical facilities.
State and national agencies are working tirelessly to provide food, shelter, and medical care to stranded tourists, with planned airlift operations using Chinook helicopters to Harsil and Mi-17 helicopters to Nelong.
