Transrail Lighting has announced a significant rise in its net profit to Rs 106 crore for the June quarter of FY26, bolstered by robust revenues from core business segments.
This engineering, procurement, and construction giant, active in transmission and distribution, showed remarkable growth compared to a net profit of Rs 52 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year, as stated by the company on Wednesday.
The June quarter saw a revenue leap of 81% to Rs 1,660 crore, driven largely by strong execution in the transmission and distribution sector, which remains a central focus for Transrail. New orders totaling Rs 1,748 crore, largely from domestic projects, further solidified its stronghold, resulting in a 72% year-on-year growth, and an unexecuted order book standing at Rs 14,654 crore as of June.
