Union Home Minister Amit Shah is slated to visit Sitamarhi to lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of the Janki Mata Mandir, with heightened security measures in place. District Magistrate Richie Pandey confirmed that comprehensive security protocols, including anti-terror squads and surveillance, have been implemented to ensure a smooth event.
The foundation stone for Maa Sita's temple at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi will be laid by Shah, marking an auspicious occasion for the entire country, particularly Mithilanchal. In anticipation of this event, Home Minister Shah expressed his optimism for the temple's comprehensive development plan via social media.
As Bihar's Assembly elections approach, this initiative holds significant political implications as the NDA coalition, consisting of the BJP, JD(U), and LJP, aims to retain power in the state against the INDIA bloc's campaign to dislodge Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's administration. Election dates are yet to be announced by the Election Commission of India.
