In a fiery revelation, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the BJP of massive voter list manipulations, describing them as a serious threat to India's electoral integrity. Highlighting alleged fraud, Gandhi claimed that over 1,00,250 fake votes were created in Karnataka's Mahadevapura Assembly segment to secure BJP's win.
Kerala's Leader of Opposition, VD Satheesan, supported Gandhi's assertions, labeling them a significant danger to democracy and constitutional values. He alleged similar malpractices occurred in BJP-led states with discrepancies also reported in Kerala's Thrissur constituency, urging a comprehensive probe into these accusations.
Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Election Commission, alleging collusion to sabotage elections. He presented physical evidence at a press briefing, indicating alleged complicity that enabled Modi's third-term victory. In response, the State Chief Electoral Officer urged Gandhi to formally submit his evidence for examination.
