In a significant political development, Opposition Members of Parliament from both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are gearing up for a protest march on Monday. The march is set to commence from Makar Dwar in Parliament to the Election Commission's headquarters at Nirvachan Sadan, starting at 11:30 AM.

The planned demonstration will take place via Transport Bhawan, aiming to draw attention to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the election-bound state of Bihar. On Sunday, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh stated that the INDIA bloc MPs are set to challenge alleged voter fraud during the forthcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing the media, Singh alleged that Booth Level Officers were submitting 'fake forms', as Rahul Gandhi presented facts regarding voter list discrepancies. Gandhi advocated for the digital availability of the voter list for electronic scrutiny. Meanwhile, Monday's Lok Sabha session will feature a full agenda with committee reports and ministerial statements planned for discussion.
