Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made a significant announcement while paying tribute to the late Shibu Soren in Ramgarh. Reddy revealed plans to construct the Shibu Soren Bhawan in Hyderabad, funded by the Telangana government, to honor the former Jharkhand Chief Minister, who passed away in Delhi on August 4 due to a prolonged illness.

Reddy praised Soren's unwavering commitment to Jharkhand's cause, highlighting his role in establishing the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha party and his relentless 26-year fight for statehood. Soren's influence extended beyond Jharkhand, inspiring the Telangana movement, said Reddy, pledging the Congress party's support to Soren's family.

Union Minister Rajnath Singh paid his respects to Soren, acknowledging his absence as a significant loss for the nation. Soren's storied political career, spanning over four decades, saw him serve as Jharkhand Chief Minister three times and as Union Coal Minister under Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh's administration. His final rites took place in his home village of Nimra in Ramgarh district, with Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren accompanying his father's mortal remains to the State Assembly for public homage.
