In the latest wave of threats to New Delhi's educational institutions, more than 50 schools have been targeted by a group identifying itself as 'Terrorizers 111'. The threats, conveyed through emails, demand a payment of USD 25,000. The emails claim that explosive devices have been strategically planted across school premises, with the group asserting control over IT systems and surveillance cameras.

The emails state their intent to detonate bombs unless demands are met within 48 hours. Evacuation protocols have been activated at several schools, with police forces and bomb disposal units conducting thorough searches. Previous incidents in Malviya Nagar and Karol Bagh earlier in the day heightened concerns as two schools also received threats in the early morning hours.

Despite earlier incidents being dismissed as hoaxes, authorities emphasize the seriousness of the current threats. The escalating demands—from a previous USD 5,000—underline an increased level of aggression. Delhi Police are urging vigilance while advising schools to remain on high alert as investigations continue.
